I would recommend staying on the island for that holiday vide. We spent 2 nights here and managed to do an hour Lagoon cruise, some kayaking, a drive up to Knysna heads and 2 hours Whale/Dolphin spotting. Loved it here but was ready to move on.

It is a place for boat trips, fisherman, and golfers in my opinion. I hired a bike. East Head would be worth a look. Great view point
