Each time we come to Canberra we try to find different things to do. Sometimes we hire bikes to go exploring, or we drive (easy with navigation). Art galleries and museums ( all with excellent cafes), markets, botanic gardens, restaurants and bars.

Love the Country Capital vibe of Canberra. Keeps me returning year after year for short breaks from Sydney. An easy drive between both locations with lots of interesting places to visit in between for rest stops, meals etc.

We haven't visited Canberra in some time and it's amazing to see how much it has changed. The city looks more alive and there are so many options for food. Outdoors and family attractions are also exceptionally plenty.

National Gallery and National Museum have excellent exhibitions. The Botanic Gardens are worth a visit with the megafauna though they are doing some path maintenance currently.

Quiet little city, but has a pretty good cafe/bar/restaurant scene. Great for museums and so forth, and seems a very fit, outdoorsy place.

Love the vibe. Went to the Shakespeare by the Lake and it was fantastic experience!
"Excellent location as only a few minutes walk to the convention centre. Staff were excellent in every respect. Only downer was still a very noisy site despite being on the 14th floor and woke up at 6am to a huge crane outside the apartment on the last morning. Other than that this is a top location for anyone thinking of staying in Canberra CBD"
"Great priced. Room was excellent, had no idea it had kitchen and washing facilities- would have planned ahead. Plenty of parking once you got to the right level and 2 different lifts. "
"We've stayed here numerous times, it's our go-to for Canberra visits. The one-bedroom apartments are spacious, well equipped, clean and extremely comfortable and we always enjoy our stay. We've never dined in the restaurant but every now and then we'll order breakfast delivered to the room and it arrives promptly, is delicious and we find it to be good value. Secure underground parking is free with hotels.com VIP status or when booking directly, but public transport for getting around the city literally is at the door. Staff are friendly, happy hour in the bar is enjoyable and there's really not much not to like. It'll be even better when streaming services are added to the television mix, Chromecast is available but fiddly. But we love the Deco overall, it's a stellar place to stay."
