Sheets had not been cleaned, they had crumbs in them and stains of bodily fluid. Cold water didn't work in the sink so could only wash hands with burning hot water. Door to the room was stuck so we had great difficulty opening it and it wouldn't relock, only the deadbolt worked.

Manager was helpful in securing extra rooms when we needed them. Rooms were just fine, but they need some updates. Our room oddly had no lights by the bed, looks like some wall repair was underway, (holes spackled but not painted), the door didn't feel super secure when locked. Smokers were in the hallway and the lights outside were blindingly bright. So.. if you need a place to stay, this will be okay.

I would say you get what you pay for. The checkin was not great as I arrived at 8:30pm and no one was in the office. There was an envelope taped to the door with my name on it and the key inside which I thought was not secure at all. The room was clean but very dated. There was a light on outside that was shining right into my room. I would say use a light that is not so bright. Overall, I was not expecting alot, so I was not disappointed.

The bed was comfortable, although there was a big tear in the sheet. Blinds were so rickety they didn't block out the light. Fortunately the outside light went off at 11. Bathroom was so tiny could barely get in to close the door. It felt safe enough and was fine for a quick overnight. The check in person was nice. This feels like an older property that could do with some freshening up in the rooms, although some things were fine. Hardly any electrical outlets and most of them already being used.

Disgraceful!
The property was in the worst condition I have ever experienced. Mold everywhere, the sink wouldn’t drain water, the tub wouldn’t hold water, the bed was broken down, the for had an inch crack all around it. I called Hotel.com. The manager was not on site! I will not pay for this room!

Great breakfast and great location. The staff was super friendly. The rooms definitely need some updating, though. And there was trash all around the outside area. A small table with a couple chairs inside the room would have been nice also.

Room 17 needs cleaned. Smelt smoky and musty, and I woke up with a stuffy nose. Scott, the owner was very nice, but I would not stay here again. Light outside was on and shined through the blinds…

We arrived and found an envelope on the office door. We settled in after a long day of taking in coast. People were outside right under room windows at table until late talking, which seemed loud to us. After falling asleep, the fire alarms went off. As office is not staffed, it took a very long time for fire dept or the manager/owner (who stays in residence up behind the motel) to get there. The manager/owner finally arrived but drove down to other side of building, never communicated to us what was going on, and it was quite a while before the fire dept, as they were leaving scene, said we could go back in. Manager/owner was not in the office the next morning to meet/greet us, or ever interacted with us the previous night. As a previous nurse administrator I found this extremely unacceptable. My nights sleep was destroyed. The morning after all this, the gal who ran the kitchen was pleasant, helpful, the food was good. We left both cook and housekeeping good tips - they clearly do their jobs. But I will not recommend this place to others or stay there again. Shame on the manager/owner.

I booked this motel because of the location and good review on breakfast. The place was right on the busy Rte 1 very close to Camden. The property looked rough and deserted when arrived around 1pm. Front door was locked. Calls to their 888 # and their local number went straight to voice mail. No one called back. We spotted someone who finally checked us in early around 2pm. The room needs TLC. Curtain rods need fixing, lamp shade broken, furnishers scratched, bad vanity drainage and bed squeaked. The breakfast was wonderful as on other reviews. It served our purpose of quick overnight stay to get back on the long drive next day.

Garbage everywhere! Furniture and trash in the woods all around the property! Dumpster and garbage can overflowing with trash. It was surprising! It looks like the property is being renovated and i really liked the staff and the room and the price! And the special consideration for our 2 large dogs! Breakfast was served to all guests...very nice, full breakfast buffet included in price. Met some great folks.

Simple, clean and quiet hotel.
It is a very nice, simple hotel. Clean, quiet and good staff. Very small and not upscale but a nice place to stay. Decent breakfast

2/10 Poor

Honestly, I was surprised at how poor of a condition the room was found. It appeared as if no renovations or even paint touchups had occurred in the last decade. Fixtures couldn't have been updated in perhaps 20 years. Adjacent room had two gentlemen smoking with their windows open which permeated throughout adjacent rooms. I contemplated leaving and sleeping in my car but was settled and took tired after hours of driving. In hindsight, I should have.

I was assigned a room on the backside of the property second floor. Bottom floor had windows that were damaged, outside steps were in a state of repair and trash littered the surrounding area. Unsafe appearance. Room looked dirty and had a very strong unpleasant odor. I informed the man at the front desk it was unacceptable and gave him the key back. I hope to receive a refund for the two nights I had booked there.

The motel is tired and could do with a makeover. We made the mistake of booking a standard room not realising the we should have booked a non smoking one so the room smelled of smoke and animals. On the upside the bed was comfy and the breakfast was good.

4/10 Fair

On the plus side, the room was available on very short notice, and the breakfast was quite good. However, I was not impressed by the bag of trash outside the room door - it was still there in the morning. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and a coffee maker would have been welcome (particularly at that room price.) Also, the damaged trim around the bathroom door looked suspiciously like evidence of some kind of violence - an uncomfortable feeling. The lot itself had a lot of trash littered about.

This is a non smoking motel and we smelled cigarettes and pot. We also had ashes outside our door in the morning. No one at the desk. It was not as clean as I would like for a room of this amount. Would not recommend this resort. However the breakfast was worth it.
