Stayed for a few days and had a wonderful time. The history of the property was interesting and it was near enough to multiple places we wanted to visit on our trip! Will stay here again

The restaurant was closed but everything else was lovely! Loved the dogs
Cinthia, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Hotel and surrounding area was beautiful. Staff was very nice - especially the young lady who checked us in. The only downfall is we stayed on the bottom floor and it was very noisy during the night with people upstairs. If you are a light sleeper, ask for an upper level room. All in all it was a great stay. Restaurant was amazing
Dawn, 2-night trip

I had never stayed in such a unique historical property. The rooms were the largest of any hotel I have had, beds comfortable, clean, staff was friendly, mountains in the back of the property, even the soap smelled wonderful.

Nicholas, 1-night trip

This historical property has it all. The tavern has great food and drink with a really friendly serving staff. My room was huge while being very reasonably priced for the area near Bar Harbor. The grounds are nice with beautiful views all around

Beautiful property, with a beautiful view, clean rooms and friendly and accommodating staff. We loved our stay!
Gwyn, 3-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The owner is a money hungry idiot. Never go to this disappointment!
James, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Everybody was friendly and the inn was quiet and our dog was very welcomed. I wish there had been a refrigerator in the room and the bed was just a little bigger. It was tough to be comfortable with two people. Other than those little things we really enjoyed our stay.
Sheri, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was beautiful location and easy access to Acadia NP. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Daniel, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Wonderful find. Just lovely! Dinner at the restaurant was superb. Will definitely recommend to others.
Lucia, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

booked this literally at the last minute as the other property that we had booked left us stranded ... Lucerne Inn has great customer service and the property was clean and well maintained. Front office and other employees were very nice. My only suggestion for improvement will be with the breakfast to include waffles or bread for vegetarian choices as the only option was packed meat sandwiches. They also had yogurt and fruits as well.
Babu, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Friendly and helpful staff. We appreciate that Lucerne allows dogs with a convenient dog station and outdoor area out the back of the Inn to let the dogs out.
NICOLE, 3-night trip

2/10 Terrible

I had booked for Aug 5 arr-Aug 6 dep. When I got there I was told the booking was for Aug 4 arr-Aug 5 departure. Our 20th anniversary was today Aug 6. I knkow I had problems booking this stay as Expedia kept opening up Lucerne hotels in several different areas and always defaulting to Aug 4&5 days. I finally got logged in directly to the correct Lucerne hotel for Aug-5&6 dates. Don't know how the dates defaulted to the earlier dates but it resulted in me having to pay another $180 for the stay!
KENNETH, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed to leave a vehicle there after checkout, so that we could take one car to a graduation. They also allowed us to borrow umbrellas in case we needed to wait in the rain to get into the event.
Susan, 1-night trip

Tw nights in Dedham

Hotel is nice, staff is helpful, breakfast lousy, dinner service nice but very slow, like a southern state
Leif, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

I liked the fact it was a 200 year old property. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean. Did not have an opportunity to eat there but it sure smelled wonderful and there were many people in the dining area. The view is pretty. Did not like the sparse free continental breakfast they offer and they clear the dining room prior to the ending time which is quite rude. Overall the inn is pleasant and the staff appeared friendly. It is 50 minutes away from the busy Bar Harbor area but I'm sure is alot less expensive than B.H.
