Dear Sir:
About my stay in 9Hotel 2/20 – 2/22, I do have on complaint – 9Hotel wound not provide me an itemized billing upon check-out.
I checked out 9Hotel at 10:30 am on 2/22. My bill total is NT$4,320.01 and I paid online by credit card.
I asked the male staff for a detailed billing: showing the type of room I stayed in, price per night, how many nights that I stayed, taxes – if any, telephone phone charges – if any. Pretty much standard staffs.
The front desk clerk claimed that, since I booked the room through Hotels.com, paid the fee online to Hotels.com, therefore it is Hotels.com responsibility to provide me an itemized billing. The 9Hotels is not obligated to provide such billing.
I asked for a detailed billing for my protection. It is to prove that I checked out on time, paid the hotel fee in full to avoid bait-and-switch, or to sneak in other fees.
On 2/24 to 2/26 I stayed at Lees Boutique Hotel in Kaohsiung for 2 nights (confirmation number 8126090754241). I also booked the room through Hotels.com. Lees Boutique Hotel provided me with a detailed itemized billing upon my check-out.
I hope you can make 9Hotel management aware of their obligation to consumers.
