We arrived on Monday evening and were met by Eric who showed us round and took us to our room.
This property only has 3 rooms and we had the suite on the middle floor - Els Festejadors. You have a lift that takes you straight into the suite where there is a kitchen area, bathroom, lounge area with a small table and chairs and then the bedroom, which is huge with an enormous bed.
Everything was spotlessly clean and you have everything you need to be a bit self sufficient if you want to eat at the hotel rather than going out. There's a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, sink, crockery and cutlery, etc, all for your use. There is air conditioning in the lounge area and a big fan in the bedroom.
Downstairs is the courtyard with tables and chairs, and Jimmy's Bar which is stocked with a selection of cold drinks, tea, a kettle and a Nespresso machine for coffee with a good selection to choose from.
Eric is a brilliant host who will tell you of the history of the building and help with navigating the city.
We mostly used it as a base to explore the city but also spent time relaxing in the suite, which is big enough to do this. It's not like you're stuck in a hotel room; this is much more a home from home.
All in all, a perfect 5 days.
