Seems like a work in progress. Our window faced the woods and stacks of pallets and the mattresses very soft.

10/10 Excellent

Adorable location and such a welcoming vibe! The staff were all incredibly nice, and what really made my day was that they gave my furbaby a little treat baggie—so thoughtful! It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, whether you’re human or furry. Highly recommend!
Ruby, 3-night trip

6/10 Okay

The property was different than what is advertised. It is not the Extended Stay of America chain. The staff was very nice. The rooms are at different location than the office to check in. The staff are very nice.
Rachel, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The outdated rooms in the lodging industry are a systemic issue. Most hotels offer rooms from the 1980s furniture and decor. Pricing is also a major issue, especially in Alaska during the summer when demand is high and properties are scarce. This property was no exception. Great place to stay while you are looking for a more permanent home in Fairbanks or you are associated with UAF temporarily.
Laurent, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This property was close to the area of town I needed to be in daily. The room was clean, the staff was courteous. When I need to come back up here, I will definitely book here again.

Great stay
YUGARSI, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

Overall fine. Our bedtime was excellent. Our niece had to sleep on a bed that sagged terribly in the middle. The only window in her room had nothing to cover so she had to sleep in the light, since Alaskan summers can be quite bright. Appreciated all of the hooks for coats in the entry and behind bathroom door. Clean, quiet, lots of outlets to recharge electronics, thanks.
Maryanne, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

I think the hotel was good value for the money, but I think the one thing I would improve is the comfort of the beds.
Peter, 10-night trip

4/10 Poor

Dated furnishings No A/C No elevator. 22 steps to unit. Missimg screen on window. Breakfast marginal.
Bob, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Lady who checked us in was great. Few issues with rooms like couple of bulbs are out, bathroom door doesnt close and make squeaking noise and bed was the same noisy as well. Other then that it was great.
Rohit, 3-night trip

4/10 Poor

The hotel has no elevator and is three stories high. The stairs are straight and steep. The manager and main part of the hotel is 0.4 miles away. Breakfast is served at the main hotel and quarters for washing machine and dryer are at main hotel. They do provide complimentary laundry detergent. The room had an electric stove, sink, glass dishes and cups, and a clean refrigerator. Located near University of Alaska campus but is about 5-10 minute car ride from downtown Fairbanks.
Phillip, 2-night trip

Great Stay

Great Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Easy Check-In I had a great experience at this hotel. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff honored my request for a top-floor room. The hotel has been recently remodeled, and it really shows—everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and well-kept facilities. Would definitely stay again!
Varaporn Jenny, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Kinda janky but so is Fairbanks. Property, linen, furniture all in dire need of upgrades. It’s fine for a night or two in a pinch. Omg spiders… shower, bed, kitchen (basement unit). Reviews are fine or hate it. Wasn’t horrible, trying not to be picky. Not a Hilton. Room for improvement
Jeffrey, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Need handicapped rails in tubs Be nice for us older folks if the elevator worked It was very confusing to call yourselves Fairbanks Extended Stay with no mention or link of the address being for Seven Gables.
