Fourth time that we visited. Beautiful place and great value and location.

Lillian, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Such a lovely, peaceful place to spend the night! Well worth the detour. Quaint and pretty with so much character and squeaky clean.
Emeline, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The owners are very kind and the place was beautiful and quiet. We loved and we recommend it!
Ignacio, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Very outdated no staff but does the job for a night
Bernard, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It’s a hostel not a hotel — deal with it!
James, 1-night trip

The grounds, picturesque and super-charming, are what we enjoyed the most. Some of the outside chairs are broken, so watch out when using them. The portable AC in our room is loud. Bring ear plugs! (But happy to have AC.) Communal fridges are full; latecomers may not find room in them. The kitchen functions but needs a redo as it's quite worn. Room is serviceable but amenities are minimal. If you're not too fussy, this property will do for one or two nights.

Outdoors is gorgeous….green room was ok, pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Kitchen and dining needs work…it was convenient but seemed dirty and furniture wasn’t in great condition. There was another group who were loud and clearly unwell, a lot of coughing in the common rooms which made us uncomfortable staying those areas.
Bil, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

medium we are large the ceiling too low the property behind the offices has no person for the not warm welcome
Sylvie, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We loved our stay at this beautiful and unique property. It had all the charm we were looking for while exploring the area. Our room had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor area was lovely. We would stay here again!
Mary, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

I did not read enough before getting to this place and was very surprised when I realized we spent a night in the historical building! It is pretty far from Quebec's old city center, and there is no malls or stores, or other busy places around. But it was exactly what I love for having rest: a very beautiful, peaceful, and clean place, a very old but still cozy and nice historical building, a beautiful garden with natural surroundings. The price is reasonable. I can highly recommend! The only thing to remember: bring your own food and dishes. There is a kitchen with a coffee machine, a kettle, and a microwave, but no food and no stores around.

Very nice property with a large garden. Fridge/Kitchen available.

Historic, unique dwelling!

Wonderful location. We stayed in the oldest section of the building. There was a slight odor in the bathroom - but the beds were very comfortable. The uniqueness of the "suite" made up for the lower and peaked ceilings. Very friendly staff and very clean!
Cheryl, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was the first time that I have stayed at a hostel, so it was interesting. The communal petit déjeuner was fun. I made a pot of coffee to share.
René, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Although our room was a little small and the shared bathroom was compact and had an awkward placement for the sink. The host was awesome and lovely! Also it was good value for the price.
Ernesto, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

It was a same day reservation, the owner was very accomodating.
Marylene, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We enjoyed the location and the traditional housing. we could walk around the Auberge and reach the St-Laurent in 5 min. Many shops around but you need the car. The Staff is very welcoming! The Maple Syrup they produce is excellent. Great for lovers or family.

Avarage
Melih, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

No breakfast, coffee cost $2/cup, uncomfortable mattress, A/C very noisy and window couldn’t open, no Kleenex anywhere, toilet seat was broken, no staff anywhere. No hooks to hang things, no hand towel, pillows were horrible. We are seniors and the path to the front door was treacherous with rocks that you could trip on. The bathtub was slippery and no handles. There was no place to get breakfast, except a small place that only opened between 9:30 & 10 and they only served a panini. One would think they could offer free coffee and a muffin, but no-nothing. Kindness goes a long way.
