Within minutes walk of the main station for a one night stay and well equipped for 3 people. Clean, friendly staff and close to plenty of restaurants. 30 min walk to St Mark's. Breakfast included which we couldn't make due to catching an early train, but staff were nice enough to package a take away for us to collect when leaving. Well worth the stay!

The hotel was very close to main transport. Generally the hotel could do with some modernisation. Rooms were ok but not really insulated and tended to be dark.

This location is conveniently located by the train station and the bus station/drop-off. It is down an alley so not very busy. Close to great restaurants and shops. The biggest issue is that in one day, the power went out THREE times on our floor. The employee at the front desk was stressing about it, and was quick to remedy it--however, it was very inconvenient and nothing was offered to make up for it. Rooms are basic, but that is typical for European rooms.

Avoid this hotel. We found bed bugs on and we have pictures of it. We found it on first day and tried to cancel second day reservation but the property owner didn't do it. We booked another hotel and stayed. Lost money. Also noise hotel room. Don't expect good sleeps

Fine for a couple of nights, wouldn’t want to spe!
Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. You could hear every sound from the other rooms and floors. The lift was the slowest known to man! We didn’t like having to book a slot for breakfast as it’s not always easy to predict when you want to get up, plus we found the staff quite curt. The area was nice and central and reception staff were very welcoming. Probably wouldn’t stay there again though.

very small not very clean hotel and room, terrible small and in bad condition shower, bad soap, no shampoo at all. hotel should be rated as 2 stars, not 3. however surprisingly ok breakfast. best thing is location, very close to train station, close to Grand Canal.

Utter disaster thebed fell apart twice, there was no hot water till the morning i left, the a/c did not work and i had to open a window so i was eaten alive well i slept, the one window opened to their garbage room the other to the dinning area so it was loud and could not sleep past 6:30am, the walls are paper thin..., this stay was a disaster

Put us in a room on the top floor with no working air conditioning during a heatwave with no idea of when it would be fixed and could not sleep. Then the next morning they turned off the water also telling us they had no idea when it would be turned back on. We were lucky to find another hotel with availability, most were fully booked and promptly checked out. We contacted Expedia to file a complaint and request a refund for the unused night which the manager initially denied. We had to go back to the hotel to complain again at which point they finally said they would not charge us for the night we didn't stay.

Need a refund for this room. The air conditioning was broken at 40oC the room on the fifth floor, 406, was between 32 and 40oC between 4:00 pm and 1:00 am. They did nothing to help us. We had to make a reservation at another hotel in the middle of the night because they just would not fix it. Francesca at the reception was very rude. Screamed at me. Antonella knew nothing and called her boss to tell us that they could do nothing because we’ve booked with Expedia

Location was good, close to good restaurants and waterbus stops. Breakfast was nice although we had to book in for set time slots, would have preferred more flexibility. Booked to stay here for 4 nights but upon arrival was informed that the 3 star Agli Artisti is made up of itself and 2 other hotels including one called Hotel Florida on the same street and that we would not actually be staying at Agli Artisti but at Hotel Florida instead. Florida is a 2 star hotel. The room was basic and while it was quiet in terms of noise from outside, we could hear every footstep, voice and floorboard creak in the rest of the building. In the bathroom the extractor fan didn't work, the water took a long time to heat up and there were water stains on the ceiling. Worst, my friend and I have both returned home covered in small red bumps that we are hoping aren't from bed bugs. Despite the location and price, we would not stay here again.
