A nice place to stay with shared kitchen and laundry. The convenience of location is unfortunately comprised by its traffic noise.

Located in a convenient location, with easy access to the hospital and tram to the city. However, the shared kitchen is a bit wierd and made it feel like a hostel. The rooms were really basic, dated and poorly designed. I'm an average sized guy, and i couldn't even shut the bathroom door without having to put one foot in the shower. Plus, the aircon unit didn't work. It was a warm night so had to sleep with the window open which wasn't safe as I was on the street level floor. Good for emergency accommodation as it's near the hospital but at $300 a night it would be an absolute last resort to stay here again.

Excellent staff service, bedding & bathroom both clean. Room very tired. Great spot for light rail to the city, takes 30mins to QBV building. Choice of good restaurants within easy walking distance.

Comfortable bed and modern bathroom facilities. Air conditioner was good and kept the room at a nice temperature throughout the night. The only negative comment l want to make is the room needs a little TLC with the cleanliness in a few areas a bit of a let down.

10/10 Exceptional

Staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to check in early and secured an on-site park (limit to 4 cars, a little tight for my big 4WD but not a big issue. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located across from the hospital which was great because I had a family member who was admitted. There are some nice places to eat which are in close proximity. The trams run out the front of the hotel. I had a very comfortable stay and will stay again if needed.

Could be more attention paid to cleaning. Dirty wineglasses and coffee cup in my room. Tiles grubby but otherwise clean and tidy.
Kim, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Water dripped on bed. Not serviced properly. Noisy. No way to contact reception after 5.
Jennifer, 2-night trip

Property is next big hospital, with train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Room is small but nice and clean. Bathroom fan and light are turning on/off with motion detector which is strange and fan is very noisy. Bathroom door is dangling folding one.
Alexey, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Easy access to shops, airport and transport. Rooms need updating, my room had a block out blind missing which meant people can see into the room from the street at night. Fridge half froze my milk and food. Reception advised they are renovating in next couple of months.

I booked this as “pay upon arrival” using a credit card to secure the booking, intending to use a different card to actually pay upon arrival. Upon arrival I discovered my first card has already been charged at 11:30am. This is not pay upon arrival and should not be advertised as this. Should be changed as an option for booking. I would have booked elsewhere that had this function.

I wish I could’ve reviewed this property highly however upon arrival we were told they had overbooked and couldn’t accommodate us. Instead of then trying to find us new accommodation for the night or even apologise for the inconvenience the receptionist told us it wasn’t their fault and was the travel agents and we needed to quote: “keep our options open”. She made absolutely no effort to sort our accommodation out with another hotel we had to do it all ourselves which is absolutely appalling service. Once we had eventually worked out different accommodation and went back to the Blenheim to collect our bags which they were holding, she told us she did have a room for us but made no effort to contact us and let us know. So we went to a lovely 5 star hotel (Larmont by Lancemore) which I highly recommend. I would never recommend the Blenheim to anyone, nor would I ever consider booking there again.

Wow, super disappointed with this stay. Firstly, the limited parking on offer is 4 car spots at the back of the property that you have to ring and book in advance. This Is not mentioned anywhere in the Expedia ad. The bathroom floor looked like it had never been mopped and there were old mattresses chucked around the side of the property, what a great look. To top things off we came back to our room from a day out to find that staff had left the room door open and unlocked, presumably after it was cleaned. This is not ok. They property was open for anyone on the street to walk up to. The response to this from management was terrible, we were asked whether the door was fully open or just open a little. We honestly couldn’t believe it. What we were offered from the property in return was a breakfast voucher (that would barely cover a Sydney breakfast) and late check out… after we had already checked out. So unbelievably frustrated by this stay.
