I enjoyed my stay here. The bed was comfy and everything was quiet. The staff was nice. The property is old and a bit dated, but it's very clean and the parts that matter have been updated, like the furniture. I loved that I could open the windows, old places are nice like that. It's a simple place but has a lot of thoughtful touches. Best of all, there's a couple restaurants within walking distance.
I only had a couple drawbacks: my room had a baked in scent to it, like old cigarette smoke covered up by floral cleaner. Some folks might not mind it, but I'm allergic to scented carpet cleaner and laundry detergent, so I'd politely suggest using unscented products in the future as a best practice. Also, there was great water pressure but in my room, 215, there was a lot of buildup in the shower head so more water went out of the shower than in it. There also wasn't enough hot water for more than a few minutes at 7 am. But if all you need to do is sleep, it's a humble place with thoughtful touches and everything you need :)
