Wanted to love
I wanted to love this property, but things fell short of expectations. Pros: amazing well maintained grounds. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, access to kayaks. Lovely live Hawaiian music in the afternoon, in the nice lobby. Cons: Room stayed in did not look like the room booked on line, at all. Rooms wall was the parking lot, Room was not thoroughly cleaned from the last guest. Amenities which were advertised had to be signed up for, such as stand up paddle board, yoga, kayaks, where already taken before check in. Only to find out yoga wasn’t being held, and the kayaks ended up sitting out all day with no one using them at their allotted times. Very frustrating paying a resort fee. Though the staff was able to secure a time, had we known to secure ahead of time we would have. But their website says nothing about that.

beautiful jungle rainforest atmosphere
We stayed for 4 nights for our wedding with friends, and it was a wonderful experience. The setting was quite different from a beach resort, offering a beautiful jungle rainforest atmosphere. Our room (#35) had a great view and a nice kitchenette. We rented a car, but for our friends who didn’t, it was a bit challenging since there are no nearby restaurants or shops (Safeway is about a 10-minute drive away). We found Uber to be more reliable than Lyft for getting around. The staff were very kind and friendly.

Location and kayaking cannot get better
The location is amazing. We were so surprised to go down to the floating docks and sit and listen to the various birds singing in the trees. Take advantage of the kayaks and recommend going out 9am when the water is very calm. Go towards Chinaman Hat and there is so much coral as the water is not deep. We could see so clearly the fish and even saw a few turtles popping their heads up. The resort is quaint and quiet. Though the roosters do like to wake you as early as 4:30am you can hear them but quickly you can ignore them. It was great location to head up to the north shore and down to Waikiki and Kailua. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for what we needed.

What a great little place. Off the beaten path on the rural side of the island but great view of the bay, rooms clean and comfortable with a small living room and kitchenette. Yoga and kayaks were included everyday as well as live local music each night. Highly recommend

Our room had no view which was a disappointment, but the private small resort was a highlight as we do not like Big busy hotel resort spaces. It was an easy drive to restaurants and other activities! We enjoyed the floating patios and kayaks and paddle boards! Will stay again!

Hidden Gem
We were in town for a wedding and stayed here because it was close to the venue. We had no idea how beautiful the location was and how high end the grounds were. Everything was so clean, the amenities were unique and the beds were comfortable! The only recommendation I have is to have more towel hooks!

I did not stay at the property in Oahu because it was a horrible experience when we arrived it was not a hotel it was a residential street with rundown houses it was not at the address they advertised it was not the photo advertised it was an old residential room, did not have an extra bed like they told us nothing was as represented I want my money back.

Unique hotel, stunning location, highly recommend
Incredible hotel, tucked away, but so well equipped and clearly dedicated to providing you with the best stay imaginable. The location is really unique and because of that, they provide water sport equipment and even a 2.5hr boat trip to snorkel at a reef in Kaneohe Bay and experience the amazing sand bar just off shore. Special mention to Captain Rallen, Tyson who chartered the boat, and Uncle Danny who provided the most chilled out, beautiful Hawaiian music and anecdotes while you watch the sun go down over the bay and Kualoa Ranch. Thank you for an awesome start to our honeymoon.
