Such a great stay in the heart of Reykjavik. Rooms were great and comfortable and a short walk to everything around it. The staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again the next time we come.

GREAT FIND
Our stay at City Center Hotel was great. I love the eclectic surroundings, coziness of the room, kind housekeeping staff and the service from the front desk was exceptional! Baktus the Cat was an added bonus. We didn’t know we’d be meeting a star! The location is PERFECT! You’re literally in the center of it all with quick access to shopping, dining and entertainment. Service was amazing. Clean rooms, clean shower. Room cleaned every morning upon request to a stunning standard. Came for girlfriend’s 21st birthday and the room was upgraded without ask. Will recommend to anyone and everyone coming to the city!

Great staff and central location
A great little centre hotel, on the Main Street with plenty of bars and restaurants. It’s pretty much close to everything you want to do as a tourist. The room, small, but had everything you need, mini bar in my room (207) although you just need to be aware of potential noise from the various bars (Irish and English bars) very close. Didn’t bother me, close window and most of it is blocked out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowed us an extra hour for check out.. location excellent, facilities great. Would recommend.

The availability of breakfast drinks and or snacks would be nice. At least have coffee, tea, and juice available. There is no place nearby in the mornings to get a good hot beverage. There is a small coffee maker in the room but does not make good coffee and there are no condiments with it.

What a great hotel with awesome quirky decor. Bed was comfortable. Nice big room with a sofa and frig. The staff were so nice helping us with excursions and directions. There were plenty of food options on the street. Plenty of shopping and a convenience store close by. We walked everywhere and the bus stops were really close. Our favorite part of the hotel was Baktus a cat of Reykjavík who lives at the property. He even has his own Instagram page. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Such a great place to stay!

If you have a car, finding parking is terrible. The windows also aren’t sound proof/doubled so you hear all the street noise. They do give you a sleep kit of earplugs and eye mask to help. Central location to walking everywhere
