The room was clean the day we arrived, the staff downstairs is very friendly and helpful, check in was very easy. There are no small refrigerators in the room and no water or coffee machines so it is a minor inconvenience. The cleaning of the room after the first 1 and 2 nights is an issue since even do we did put out the "room needs cleaning tag"on both rooms, no one came to clean them for 2 days. We had to go downstairs and tell the staff in order to get that done? It is about a 8-10 minute walk to the train station, but the area is not a very touristy one so do not expect many restaurants or options around there. Overall if you are there for sleep only and feel like you wont need anything else, it fits.

If you are attending anything at the Barclay Arena this hotel is essentially a five minute walk through a beautiful park to get to the venue. The hotel was newly built in October 2025 and is of concrete block construction; very minimalist look on the interior. I found the automated check-in system frustrating after a long 35 hour flight. Especially in that my booking number did not correspond with the one I had been given by a third-party company and it also did not recognize my name. Luckily a staff member was still working in the bar and was able to give me a code to print my own key card and get my room number. But be advised that you do have to do all of that yourself through a computer stand. The room I had was perfectly sufficient aside from lacking any coffee maker or tea kettle station. It also did not include a mini fridge. The bed was comfortable and clean. Storage for clothing was an open concept closet with one deep drawer. Nicest addition to the room was heated flooring in the bathroom. All in all a reasonably priced, convenient safe and clean place to stay if attending any event at Barclay Arena.

One word: BASIC. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful, but overall it’s very functional and no-frills. Two things worth noting: 1. The location isn’t central, and there are limited good restaurant options nearby. 2. The pillows are genuinely uncomfortable - oversized, overstuffed, and offering very little support. I mentioned this to staff on departure after struggling to sleep both nights.

We arrived after the reception closed (after 23:00). To be sure that we could get in I called the hotel as I was concerned that my hotels.com booking number could not be used to gain access. The first contact when calling was an Ai engine ( not great). However, I got hold of a person who told me my name would be sufficient to open the door. Once at the hotel I scanned the barcode at the door to get an errorcode on the homepage- panic. But via a menu I found the right page. However, now I really went into panic mode as a bookingcode was needed. How was I going to get in. Fortunately I noticed some people inside who opened the door. After that things went easy. Checkin via computerterminal. Roomkey. The room was basic but clean and I only needed a place to sleep. So after the panic getting in all was good and I slept very well.
