I would like someone to contact me before I send my.email with at 3pm today with my.email explaining why I had to leave due to the infected blood stained room, bed, bedding in the filthiest room I've ever walked into. No refund, owner thinks blood strained pillows, mattress, mattress protection and quilt as well as other stains and electrical fire hazards is acceptable in a budget hotel. I will be sending photographs and video evidence to the proper government departments if I do not receive a call from Hotels.com today.. I have 36 photographs in total of electrical hazards, fire hazards and the pillow's you see are the replacement pillow's we were given when we asked for the first 4 to be changed.. We were booked into different attractions in Blackpool so had to buy throw overs in Blackpool that day in order to sleep on the FLOOR the first night until we could get out and search for new accommodation on Saturday This is not what is advertised...

For the price we paid for this hotel we had an excellent stay, we had two rooms adjoined by a bathroom giving us some privacy from the kids, everything we needed was available. When we asked the manager for four extra pillows it was no problem, parking was available at an extra cost, the hosts were lovely and couldn’t have done anything more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future.

The location is absolutely perfect, 5 minutes away from coral island and Blackpool tower and the city centre. Also 5 minute walk to the sea front where everything is, very central. Train station is about a 7 minute taxi ride but it’s also in walking distance. The owner (which I am assuming) was there on hand as soon as we arrived and helped carry our bags to our room. There is also a free pool table in the reception area. The room it’s self was very basic but had tea and coffee facilities but as I knew we wouldn’t be spending a lot of time in the room it was exactly what we needed. The shower cubicle was very small and the shower head wasn’t in the best position. There were towels on the bed on arrival but they were very small not bath towels so would advise taking some extra towels. Tv worked perfectly for winding down when we got in. Down fall is no cleaners go in daily to make the bed or change the bedding, change used towels over or put toilet rolls in or change the bins but the owner on our 3rd day did ask if we needed anything in the room and did replenish what was asked off. The owner would have done this earlier than it happened but as we were out of the room a lot we never crossed paths. As check out was at 10am and our train was a little bit later we were able to leave our luggage in the reception area and the owner also put my sons iPad away safely instead of leaving it in our luggage. The owner was also very helpful in ordering a taxi to the train station.

Warning!!!!! Stay here at your own risk!!!! Its worse then a homeless shelter, the manager pretends that he can't speak English so you cannot complain he was also knocking on my door late at night asking to enter my room I told him my little girl was sleeping and he was not coming in my room.

This is not actually a hotel it’s a guest house, it does not do breakfast or evening meal and there is no longer a bar. Whilst that did not bother us it would be good to at least get the description correct. The hotel needs some basic refurbishment, mostly painting and a bigger tv in the rooms, gone are the days when a 14” tele is acceptable.

Short Trip to Blackpool
Welcomed upon arrival, room on top floor and exactly as described, twin room, clean, tidy and perfect for my needs. Bathroom was clean, sheets were freshly laundered, had read some bad reviews but for a very cheap price I was provided with exactly what I needed, basic, clean accommodation. Parking was available nearby on roadside, beware, car park prices are exorbitant for overnight parking!

Warm welcome received
We arrived to a warm welcome by the hotel owners and they were very helpful. The hotel is excellent for access to the town centre and beach and there's a few cafes nearby. The hotel would benefit from some upgrades
