The hotel is in good condition and room cleaning is done every day (not the case everywhere in Japan), which is very nice. The room is a decent size for Japan, it didn't feel cramped, and there is a closet for you to put your clothes in. It's also quiet, I never hear any noise from outside.
For breakfast you have a choice between Japanese or western sets, which do not really change day by day. I stayed here for a week, so it got repetitive. This is a hotel that has the facilities to hold weddings, banquets, has a restaurant with garden view, and a separate coffee shop. They could have a buffet breakfast.
The hotel in a quiet area and is right across the road from the imperial palace. It doesn't have many shops and restaurants around it. Dining choices are quite limited, you will have to walk about 10 min to get to an area with some dining options.
