Nice afternoon employees - Roxana and Waldir!
Roxana the receptionist and Waldir the bellboy were amazing. Super hospitable and always made me feel so welcome. Every time I returned to the hotel, they genuinely welcomed me back. For the price they charge, the hotel is acceptable but it is old and the room was small with no view. It's not soundproofed at all so you easily hear people passing by - if you had a room like mine on the ground floor. I really loved the two employees and think they should be recognized. But the hotel product itself I did not like.

The hotel is very charming and has a restaurant if you feel lazy to go out or if you have to get a very early the next morning. The rooms are small, but very clean and the bathroom is comfortable. The staff is very helpful if you need anything. We spent 4 nights there and had a very pleasant experience. Easy to walk anywhere!

The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. They ordered pizza for us, made us boxed breakfasts for us when we had early departures, ordered us taxis at a good price….the front desk staff are superb and the breakfast guy made us omelettes to order!

In general, we had a pleasant experience at this hotel. Here are some of the positives we noticed: Firstly, the staff members were very kind and hospitable. They even offered us tea to help with altitude sickness upon our arrival, and this was always available for anyone who wanted more. Secondly, the check-in process was fast and uncomplicated. Thirdly, breakfast was tasty, and there were plenty of options to choose from. Lastly, the beds were cosy, and the rooms were neat and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the high service and room quality level, and we would recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect stay!!
Everyone on the staff was amazing! They were friendly, provided great service, made us feel welcome…. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of foods and drinks. We had a team of 17 people and they took great care of us. The hotel is beautiful and so are the rooms! Everything tastefully decorated in Inca paintings, carvings, the furniture was so nice. We just loved it all!!!

This was a very clean hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice. I found the hotel was located near everything, even about a 10 minute walk to where I needed to catch the bus to the train station for Michu Picchu. When I mentioned to the staff that I had to leave really, really early in the morning they had the kitchen staff prepare for me a brown bag breakfast to go. That was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will still there the next time I’m in Cusco.

Munay wasi was a great hotel. Great included breakfast, beautiful space and comfortable rooms. The best part was the proximity to everything. Most things we wanted to do were within a 15 minute walk (5 mins from the main square). The staff helped us arrange transport to the airport and held our bags while we were hiking the Salkantay trail. I'd recommend this hotel!!

Munay Wasi was muy bien
Staff was very friendly and helped us with our lack of Spanish speaking ability. The only negative thing was there is not an elevator to get to the room but the staff assisted in getting our bags up stairs.

Pros and cons
Pros- Great location area and staff. Very clean. Cons- noisy due to glass room frontage, can hear the front desk at night and the night door bell when people stumble in. Woke me up a few times every night. Breakfast finishes at 9am. How water temperature fluctuates. No windows for fresh air.

Good location
I stayed here with my dad and brother and we were able to get one room with three twin beds in it, which was perfect for us! The location is about a 7 minute walk from Plaza de Armas so perfect for getting around Cusco. Also, we were staying here before and after our hike to Machu Picchu and were able to leave our extra baggage at the hotel while we were on the hike. Great option for a nice hotel that isn't too expensive!
