The superior twin was really an amazing room. The beds had separate sleeping areas where one bed had a room to itself with a very large tv. The bathroom was clean and the shower was amazing. The provided bodywash smelled heavenly!!!! We really loved the room and the Rocksino would be our first pick next visit!

The cleanliness and upkeep was impressive- while you find yourself in an old west town, the furnishings were modern and sleek at Rocksino!!

After a few trial stays in other hotels in Deadwood, I’ve finally found the keeper!!! Everything was absolutely perfect!! Awesome room, gorgeous hotel!! We had dinner and breakfast here. Upgraded TVs in both bedrooms with ability to connect to Netflix, etc. skylight in the bathroom, we actually used the hotel shampoo and conditioner…it was that good!!

The Rocksino in Deadwood, South Dakota is hands-down one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at before. The staff was phenomenal and very friendly. We were even upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was very nicely decorated and spacious. The hotel was completely renovated but still had the historic vibe and feel from the original building. The bedding was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to South Dakota to make a stop in Deadwood just to stay at this hotel. Waking distance to downtown Deadwood with plenty of shops and dining options. Loved, loved, loved it!!

Our room was very nice! The location was close to everything we were interested in. I would only give the parking a down grade. There is no parking onsite due to historic area it is in. You can park in front of entrance for 20 minutes to check in and unload your luggage. Then you must drive to public parking garage around the corner a few blocks down main and turn left. Cost is $10 for 24 hours.

The property was nice the hotel was great Just confused about the day before online check-in to give them all the information and then when I got to the front desk how to give up all the information again anyway so really didn't understand why I gave them all my information the day before if I had to redo it again when I got there but beyond that the stay was great

We were expecting room for 4 in the suite and they say there is room for 4 with 3 staying in a king size bed. Not good for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

We prepaid for our room on Expedia, after leaving our room, they chsrged us 75.00 on day and 73.00 the second day. We left the room clean, we never ordered room services. We haven't got and awnsers on what the charges were for.
The room was nice but the top pf the headboard had a layer of dust on it.
The morning we were getting ready to leave, 8 am.
The maid just walked into our room. She didn't knock or anything. That was weird.

This was our first stay at this property. We have stayed here when it was Hickocks. We overall felt it was good, with a great location. Our room had a view of Outlaw Square. The beds were fine. Great shower, but no counter space. It felt pretty quiet in the room. There is no parking offered and it was not convenient trying to find parking. Thry did allow you to park in front while unloading your luggage. We didn't go to the casino, nor were offered any incentives to do so. There was not any complimentary breakfast options. It looks like maybe they had a breakfast sandwich for purchase? Overall, the property has a great location and the price was decent for a downtown hotel in the summer. I might stay again if it's just my husband and I, but would probably find a place with more amenities and parking next time.
