Upon arriving at Apartamentos Dunas Club from Canada we were shocked by the condition of our room. I chose this hotel based on the pictures and reviews on Expedia. Among several minor issues, we found in the room the main issues were: we couldn't get into the room because the lock didn't work, the room interiors were damaged to the degree that can cause harm, the bathtub was disgustingly dirty, the beds were torn and worn, the pillows were torn as well. I wish I could post the pictures I took on these. After complaining at the reception desk they didn't help us and told us to complain at Expedia. In the end, we had to search for another hotel to stay losing precious time from our vacation. This whole experience was very unpleasant and frustrating. It felt like a scam and I wasn't expecting this from Expedia.
