This is a very new hotel with excellent facilities and a great accommodation environment. Compared to some older hotels, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel features hot water pools (not sure if they are hot springs), but the design and facilities are significantly better than the famous Upper Hot Springs. Built against the mountain, the hotel appears to have four separate buildings, but they are conveniently connected by a corridor on the fourth floor. Located at the entrance of the town, it is right across from a gas station, a convenience store, and a fast-food restaurant that stays open until 10 PM. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is decent. Dinner portions are generous, though the variety is limited. Breakfast, however, requires a longer wait. The staff are friendly and approachable. Overall, this hotel provided a great accommodation experience.

Best in Banff

Stayed in 2 hotels in Banff, one a little bit closer and this one. This hotel was amazing compared to the other one. Even though it was 500m further out, I would recommend highly. Also free underground parking was a bonus.

Great hotel !

This is a fairly new hotel right at the entrance of Banff town. Really clean, they have excellent (free) parking, outside and in a heated garage. I arrived early and they gave me an early check in, the staff is friendly and cheerful. There is a great cafe and restaurant on site, location is wonderful, the rooms which face the mountains actually have a great view ! Very nice addition to Banff !

Unbeatable views in Banff

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The view, the rooms, the common areas, the pool and the service are all 10/10. We will absolutely be back. My son wanted me to mention how much he loved the waterfall at the pool.

This was such a pleasant surprise. The entire staff, reception, housekeeping, bartenders, wait staff, and baristas were all very friendly and attentive. The property is new, modern, very eco-friendly, and clean. The restaurant surpassed expectations, excellent food, creative cocktails, and the best happy hour.

Arrived at the hotel and the host at the front desk told me they did not have a room for my family and I. They were casual with informing me the news and unapologetic. Fortunately, their sister hotel next door did have a room. They were more understanding of the situation than the staff at the Canoe, who seemed to really not care.
