Hotel Mauro is an OK hotel in a quiet neighborhood, easy to find if you are coming by car. The room was OK, but had a plastic carpet, but a decent bed. Bathroom was good.
The front desk spoke a mix of only Italian to some English, but service was good. There is wifi, but only in the lobby and a computer with internet that worked from time to time! The front desk seemed little concerned with this. Breakfast was good, but had a lot of cakes which is typical in Italy. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is great! Please note that on hotels.com it says they offer free bikes, but this is WRONG! They haven't done so for over 2 years, which was a major disappointment. Horrible from hotels.com that they are not up to date with this. Instead you can rent for 13 euros a day which is not the same!
