Galena is a quaint little town, big enough to have some things to do but small enough that you aren't having to deal with huge crowds and massive amounts of people. Galena tends to be our vacation getaway because it's got things for me and for her.

It's a nice getaway town and I have been here several times over the years. Once I got downtown, I took the trolley tour for an overview. It gives you a review of the town and its notable homes. Decide on your own what you want to see more of.

We had a ball shopping, dining and exploring the area. We saw the PT Murphy Magic Show, which was a great time and toured the Blaum Brothers' Distillery, which was also great. It was a very cold weekend, but would love to go back!
