For the low price it was a great place that felt cozy and safe, there wasn't any air conditioning but it was alright as the fan provided cooled down the room quickly

8/10 Very good

Very good value for an excellent location in central Cardiff. I found it a very safe place to stay as a solo traveller, with 24 hour reception and really lovely staff. The accommodation is basic but clean and had everything I needed.

6/10 Good

This hotel had a perfect location . 5 minute walk from train station, on the main tourist street . A minute from the central market, bars and pubs. The staff were great. The hotel was dated, old. The first room we were in was extremely old dark and worn. The next day we asked to be moved. They moved us to a better room, brighter and a better shower. Rooms had tea and coffee and a kettle which was nice. Also the facade was under construction, so all the windows had scaffolding outside. Can’t really help that. I would say the rooms are in need of an upgrade.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are always clean, the beds are very comfortable, the hotel is a short walk away from all the amenities in Cardiff City Centre

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel is independently owned and it is clear all the staff are invested in an excellent customer experience. I felt very welcome here. The room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. One thing to be aware of is that, due to age and layout of the building, they cannot install a lift. They were very helpful in helping me get my luggage upstairs to my room though - thank you!
