Dirty floor, wifi not working, unhelpful kids at the reception. The property has been taken over by motel 6 and it's a mess

Clean rooms
It was very clean. The room was better than the 200.00 Hilton room we stayed at for my friends wedding. A inexpensive place to stay.

2/10 Poor

Dustier than the Grand Canyon
The place was super dirty, I could literally see the dust layer above the furniture. There was hair in the bed sheets and I didn’t have the courage to turn on the heater/ac because of the amount of dirt I could see inside of it (I have allergies). There wasn’t extra blankets so I just stayed cold (it was 28 F) There wasn’t anyone in the reception for check-in. I needed to call a number so someone could come, and the person didn’t come happy. The curtains didn’t block the light coming from outside, so the bedroom was pretty bright. I had a terrible experience.

Just Fine.
We stayed for the holiday parade and for the night, it was an ok stay. Very loud heater. The upstairs neighbors were loud but that's not Westerner's fault. I would stay again if I only need it for the night as it's close to restaurants and Safeway but definitley not longer as the towels were dirty and it was not the cleanest. I had to call the phone number on the sticky note on the door for someone to come to the office to check me in. And I was instructed to drop off the key in the bin outside the office that is easily accessible for anyone to take.

Quiet
Older motel but clean and well taken care of. Front desk is not manned and you have to call a phone number and a clerk from another area hotel has to come over to let you in. This stay was off season. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Once realizing a local family manages 2 separate properties... I then understood the processes and procedures. I would stay again. Good value.

I got caught in Traffic in Phoenix and was going to be late. As per the rules I had to call before 9 PM. I made 4 calls at around 8 to 8:15 PM and there was no answer. Went to voice mail. Got to the motel at 9:45 and there was no one there. Called the emergency/after-hours number 15 times. No answer. Left a message. No call back. Rang the after hours bell. No response. After 30 mins I had to find another hotel. All sold out. Found one down the road that cost me much much more than what I paid for this one. I did as instructed to call before 9 PM but they would not answer. What was I supposed to do? I need not only my money back but I would like to be compensated for the difference. At least the difference that I had to pay for a last minute hotel. Not fair.

Overall a good stay for how far behind the room decor was. That is not a complaint but room could use an upgrade. I would stay here again for sure.

The location is fun on Route 66- Fun, unique stores, restaurants. We were an hour away from Grand Canyon- not a terrible drive. We were worried about the mattress- because it’s an extra firm memory foam… but we loved it!

It was a decent place to sleep for a night, on our way home from a 6 week cross country trip. Easy walk to down town area for food/drink, restaurants and shops, not to mention all the cool Route 66 stuff.

Was terrible! I booked three rooms. Four guys on a golf trip all in one car. When we arrived we were told that two of the three rooms were moved to another hotel in town. I had to drive the other two guys to the other hotel and drive back
