I don't normally write bad reviews, but my experience at this candlewood suites location was so bad, I'd be remiss if I didn't.
When I initially checked into my hotel room, the bedding was not changed from the previous people that stayed. There were dark brown stain lines on the pillows and sheets. We had to get someone to change the bedding. However, the staff failed to change the stained pillowcases. They proceeded to insist that they had in fact changed them, despite what we could clearly see with our eyes.
Further, the room had a mildew smell and was dusty. The air quality was so bad that it inhibited my ability to breathe. I suffer from asthma and my breathing declined significantly to the point where my throat began to close. At 4:20am I notified the front desk of the poor air quality and that staying at the hotel for the remainder of my reservation would jeopardize my health. I had to get another hotel.
For days I have been calling this location to speak with the manager. Leaving messages with the front desk people. I have provided the front desk with a statement of my stay. The manager has failed to return my calls.
For anyone that has any kind of breathing related health issue, do not stay at this hotel.
