The safe in the room was broken (did not turn on). Their maintenance crew spent about an hour in the room trying to fix it. They then told us they would need to come back the next day with the proper parts. In the meantime, they lent us a temporary safe, which wasn't NOT anchored.
The next day came and went, and the safe was still broken.
We gave up trying to follow up, as we had places to go and things to do. The hotel never provided any updates, nor at all apologetic.
Another issue was re: their "fleet of Mercedes" which were prominently featured in their website. We were never offered that service for pick up or otherwise. Instead we had to take a taxi to/from the hotel. Upon inquiring with their reception clerk about the availability of the service, he first said "it depends", then quickly changed his story mid sentence to say the website is wrong, and Hotel no longer provide this service. This we know was not correct as we did indeed see the Mercedes parked in their lot.
Not getting to use their Mercedes service is NOT a big deal to us, but why the apparent lie/change of story ?
