I had a very pleasant stay at the motel in Morro Bay. The room was clean and cozy, just perfect to relax after a long day. The location is great, especially if you want to explore the beach and the surrounding area. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It was a very clean hotel with friendly staff. Our complaint was the a/c didn’t work well and the beds have some sort of metal skirt around the bottom that squeaks whenever you move. The location was close to the beach and a bike ride to town. There is a nice little fire pit with a seating area outside. The rooms are basic and nothing spectacular. However, we would stay again for the purpose we were in town for.

Great location, walkable to the beach and Morro Rock. Very quiet in our room, easy access and very comfortable beds. It was a very fair price for summer travel, but a few details and fine-tuning would have been great. A wall had obviously been repaired, but never painted, and there were holes in the bathroom door-it had been sanded, probably in prep for painting, but not painted. Freezer needed defrosting. Front desk staff were very nice.

We arrived and needed a first floor room which the host changed for us. We were comfortable in the large sleeping area and bathroom. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and fluffy towels. The location is very accessible to the 101 HWY and fast food/restaurants. We attended a tour of Hearst Castle and needed a day care for our dog, we chose Happy Trails Dog day care. It was a drive south from our room but it worked out great! We stayed 2 days. When we checked out we had forgotten a bag in our room and they immediately called us and we went back and got it! All in all we really enjoyed our stay!
