we could not get to the hotel because major global shutdown of flights and delta canceling our flight for 3 days. the hotel was informed prior to checkin and refused to refund or provide any credit or future credit. this is wrong! An amazing stay.
It was amazing. My room was perfect with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The service at Chateau De Berne was impeccable. Every staff members was genuinely kind and helpful. The garden and facility are very well kept. The room was quite roomy for European standard. We had a nice room with the bathroom over look their herb garden with floor to ceiling window which was a plus. We tried both of their restaurants, the bistro and Jardin de Berne. The food and service at the bistro was ok, the service at Jardin de Berne was wonderful, but food was not up to what we had expected for a Michelin restaurant, except for their desserts. Overall it still deserves a highly rated 5 stars.
