In general we like this chain and this particular hotel a lot. For business or social appointments in the south of the city, it's great, especially given the scarcity of hotel space down south. The value is high.
Problems:
1. The foot bridge to the Artz mall is full of trash. It is not hotel property but to show care for guests and use its power to serve its local community, Camino Real should lobby for trash cans and cleanup.
2. We were three in our room but were given just one coffee cup, one coffee serving, and one desk chair (the desk fits multiple users easily). I rang the Front Desk and asked for more coffee and cups and they said I could have just one more (two altogether), not three, although from the start we had reserved the room for three. This struck us as chintzy (cheap) and inhospitable.
3. The blow dryer is frighteningly loud and high pitched. It sort of screams. Even on low. I suspect that the volume and pitch are even dangerous for your hearing.
