A bit dated, more of an over night convenience, but for all that it was comfortable and peaceful. Slept well. Big room. Not much around for dining or drinks. Great for motorway access and affordable. Would stay again if I needed an overnight in that area.

Nice hotel with parking and a restaurant.
A good stopping off hotel en route to Ouistreham to catch a ferry. The hotel was clean and quiet and had a restaurant and free parking. The only negative point was that I chose this hotel because it had air conditioning, but the system hadn’t been activated for the summer. It was the end of May & the room was very hot, so we didn’t get a good night’s sleep. I would choose to stay here again but only when it had working air con!

My summary.
The hotel was perfect for us regarding arriving from the ferry or staying overnight for the return ferry. The staff were pleasant and helpful, their standard of the englishlanguage was very good. I have only one negative comment to make which is that there was no lift to help us up 2 floors.

I stayed here for one night on a trip through the Normandy region of France in mid-April 2019. The property is beautiful and well located, the rooms clean, and the staff relatively friendly and English-speaking. However, my stay was an almost humorous series of events. The first room I was assigned had a bad air conditioner; after reporting the problem I was treated sort of like a rube who might not know how to use an A/C unit until a member of the staff confirmed the problem. Then I was moved to a new room, which also had an A/C unit that only pumped out hot air. I decided to live with it since the night would be relatively cool. Then the TV didn’t turn on, and the window barely opened. I don’t know why I had such a negative experience here when so many others have reported a perfectly pleasant one. I’m not quick to criticize, but this was not at all worth the price unless you just want a bed and a toilet.
