Annette on the front desk rather surly. Being told to download an App inorder to access the room virtual key ( not informed of this in the booking process) was frustrating. Pemberton Valley Lodge is so nice! Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, the staff is nice, great amenities, safe and beautiful location. Everything was wonderful. If I had to find a point for improvement, my window faced the road in front of the hotel and you either had the shade down blocking all the light, or up and everyone can see inside your room. It would be nice to have some kind of sheer curtain to provide some privacy while allowing the light to come in. Also, I did always have to try like 3 times before the app opened doors.
