We had a great 6-night stay at this hotel!
Wonderful location - steps from Chinatown, a 5 min walk from Old Montreal and the metro, and walking distance from downtown and McGill. I saw some reviews complaining about the noise of the highway and not feeling safe due to homeless people in the area, but these are to be excepted in Montreal, and we never felt unsafe walking around, even at 9:30 PM. The highway noise was not an issue because the hotel was well sound-proofed.
The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was a lack of towels - they only put 2 or 3 in the room depending on the day and we are a family of 4. The kitchen was small but enough for our purposes, and it was nice to be able to eat in our room and avoid going out every meal.
The only area that we had an issue with was breakfast our first morning - it was chaos because we came down later (8:30) - they are not equipped to handle the amount of people coming through at that time, but things were much better when we came down at 7 AM the other mornings. The food at breakfast is a great mix, and there was something for everyone. Waffles, eggs and bacon, oatmeal, pastries, fruit....
Staff were friendly and helpful. We visit Montreal at least yearly and have found the hotel we will be coming back to every time.
