Great staff for check-in, very helpful and kind. Microwave didn't work and we also couldn't watch tv the entire time, because we didn't have a working remote and when we asked for one that worked, we were told there wasn't any.

Overall, the hotel met my expectations. I was in town for a function at the Oregon Convention Center, which the hotel is located across the street. Parking was plentiful and never an issue. The only negative aspect regarding the hotel was there was no continental breakfast or similar available to guests.

I have been staying here almost every year for about 10 years now. The main reason is that it's so convenient. It's on the Red Line light rail, so for just $1.50 you can ride the rail to get downtown and to the hotel. I then go pick up a car rental at a cheaper rate than at the airport. It's also on a trolly and bus route, so getting around Portland is easy w/o a car. Keep in mind, by being on the light rail line it can be loud at night, but I have no problems sleeping (maybe it's me). The hotel itself is nice, very clean rooms, but this place is really old and needs to be refreshed.
