On the first day of my arrival, while I was in the midst of changing my clothes, a hotel staff member entered my room using a master key without knocking. I was utterly shocked.
The staff member left immediately, but no apology was offered until I called the reception about 30 minutes later. The gentleman I spoke with over the phone showed no sympathy, making me question whether I was speaking to an answering machine rather than a real person.
I stayed for one night and subsequently canceled all my remaining reservations, as I could not imagine staying at a property that treats its guests in this manner.
People make mistakes, and I understand that. However, the lack of effort to remedy the situation has ensured that I will never use this property again.
In conclusion, if nothing goes wrong, this might be a place with a reasonable price tag. Otherwise, you are entirely on your own.
