A decent hotel, within view of the train station. Overall friendly staff. The entrance, lobby, and breakfast area were all clean and comfortable.
However my room, not sure about all of them as I know they are doing some renovations, was extremely outdated.
The bed was very low to the ground and not very comfortable. The sink and fixtures in the bathroom were also very low. One of the lights were out in the bathroom which made it very dark. Told the front desk about it, but it didn’t get fixed before I left.
There were holes in the wall, upholstery on the chairs was ripped and a terrible view. The room needed an entire overhaul.
The light on the phone continually blinked and after telling the front desk about it twice I just unplugged it for my last night.
I expected more, way more from a 4-star hotel, considering I jus stayed at one last week in Portugal.
While it was right next to the train station which made it very convenient for walking, there are others in the vicinity or as well, or as in my case for my next visit I have booked another a little further away.
