The hotel is lovely! My room was beautiful as was the view! My only suggestion would be better signage so it’s clear where to go as it’s a little confusing until you familiarise yourself with the layout!

10/10 Excellent

This was an amazing property. The history of the hotel dates back to 1200. It was a very up market experience, our room overlooked the fresh clean running river. The room felt like I was in a room in a castle and the bathroom was beautiful as well. The meal experience in the restaurant was such a 5 star experience. I recommend if you want a unique 5 star experience stay at Maryculter hotel.

Enjoyable stay

A beautiful hotel. Good size bedroom with an excellent en-suite. I would recommend the restaurant, had a delicious evening meal and the full Scottish breakfast was excellent.

10/10 Excellent

Middle stay of a 3 week vacation through Ireland and Scotland. By far our best stay so far and going to be hard to beat. Excellent all the way around. Our room was outstanding, our dinner and breakfast the best yet! Caoimhe, our waitress at dinner made our entire trip worth it. She has exemplified everything we have come to appreciate about Scotland. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and offered the best suggestions for seeing Scotland at its finest. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Scotland, stay at least 3 days here!

Absolutely stunning property. We had a ground floor room dog friendly, there was a luxury dog bed bowl and treats waiting for our dog. Beautiful walking area along the river. Room was luxurious and very comfortable bed. We ate dinner in the restaurant choice and quality was 5 star. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Would stsy there again in a heartbeat.

Maryculter House is a lovely venue with beautiful surrounding scenery and a wealth of history. The rooms are nice although the standard rooms are a little cramped with furniture for two people and full wedding attire. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location with the river running past our bedroom window. The room was spacious and well equipped with a lovely bathroom. A couple of hiccups with the evening meal (mainly around service) but this was well dealt with when mentioned at check out.
