The afterhours (anytime after 5pm) checkin process was awful. I'd called ahead a couple of days early as requested and emailed through a copy of my I.d. They sent me an email with info on check in and i assumed that was everything i needed. When we arrived, a lovely couple staying there explained to us that there were lock boxes out front with the room keys in it so we just needed a code to open that which we hadnt been given in the email, they'd had the exact same problem the day before.
I called the helpdesk number and explained the issue, their phone was having issues so would automatically end the call every 30 seconds, took 6 calls from me to get them to give me the code to our lock box. It was extremely frustrating and no attempt from them to call me back each time.
Once we had our room key (upstairs room), started looking around for a ramp/lift as we had a sleeping baby in the stroller. Called the helpdesk back who advised there are only stairs. Had to wake baby and again another couple staying helped us carry stroller and our suitcases up the stairs.
Room was okay, a bit rundown and outdated. Saw a couple of cockroaches throughout our stay but other than that clean enough. Walls were very thin.
No sink in kitchenette so only was to wash dishes was in the tiny bathroom sink which i found a little unhygienic. No housekeeping offered for our 5 night stay, had to request new towels myself.
Overall wouldn't recommended, especially for a famiy.
