Free ramen and ice cream!
Free ramen and ice cream at night plus the massage chairs (although sometimes there's a line), were a really pleasant surprise. The furo bath area was a little crowded at times but once you've cleaned yourself there are multiple soaking pools including a meditation pool with dim lighting and soothing music. My favorite was the outdoor soaking pool. It's also the hottest so often I had it all to myself. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Great hot chocolate if that's your thing. Very comfortable beds. An easy, flat, three-block walk from Kyoto Station. Highly recommend.

A really fabulous place in the center of Kyoto. Great access to the station and transport to get around the city. Definitely recommend the buffet breakfast. A really great treat and delicious to boot! The room was spacious and comfortable. All the added amenities in the complex are also great, particularly the hot springs and the massage chairs.
