For my this being my first time in Richmond ( I’m from Norfolk ) The commonwealth hotel is very unique. The different pieces of art , the doors, the restaurant it’s all amazing. I think if I ever need a retreat again locally … I’ll definitely come there again as long as I have the same room.

Love the aesthetics of this place. Feels like a historical property as it is. Elevators can barely fit three people but you can only do so much working within the restrictions of a historical site. Within walking distance of venue, parking is pricey ($37/valet), checked in at 4pm, room was just finishing up even though check in says 3pm.
