08.07.25 - Queen bed, 1st floor: the stay was actually fine, it wasn’t anything spectacular, but it wasn’t supposed to be. The furniture inside the room is extremely worn, to the point where the leather chair is peeling and looks like something they picked up at a garage sale. The carpet is not clean, either, it’s vacuumed, but if you walk around on it and then look at your feet, you can tell it hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time.
The towels are also extremely small, they are like extra large hand towels, and it would’ve been nice if there was a coffee maker in the room. There’s a refrigerator in a microwave and an ironing board… But no coffee maker. It’s a commuter hotel and I get that, but the walls are paper thin plus being on the first floor made for excessive noise upstairs with heavy foot traffic. The overnight stay served its purpose, but given the choices in the area I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Improvements need to be made if they are going to compete.
