As it turned out our hotel was just a few blocks to our cruise ship. The hotel is right in the heart of the iconic houses you see on all the pictures of Bergen. Shopping, dining, and bakeries were just around the corner. The staff was friendly and the rooms very clean and comfortable.

The location was perfect for Bergen, in the historic centre with everything in walking distance. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from within 150m. Room was RIDICULOUSLY small. Not enough space to even put your suitcase. Windows didn’t open. The property had an elevator that was poorly maintained and not level with every floor it stopped at, creating a tripping/accessibility challenge. The breakfast was not included and was poor quality (grainy eggs) not enough variety of proteins.
