First time staying at a B&B because we like our privacy. It just happened that we never did run into any other guests. It seemed that everything that you could need or want was supplied. From multiple breakfast options (with fresh baked goodies offered in the morning- nut allergy so I couldn’t partake but they looked delicious) to bug and bear spray. Very thoughtful hosts.

Did not have basic amenities available easily. For a two night stay, they don’t even refresh the room with basics such as taking out the trash. We asked for a fresh pair of towels next day but the host who stays next door said she’s resting and can’t provide that. Horrible service.

Beautiful spot, well maintained and lovely stay. Girdwood is an awesome spot and carriage house is a cool location to enjoy all it has to offer. My son who has been sleeping in a tent all summer in glacier view found the futon fold out a little uncomfortable, however that may have been related to his love of being in his tent.
