No hot water - shocking lack of follow up
I am happy to pay extra for a room with a bath tub. We did so. Around $500. The room was perfectly lovely, although for this price range I would usually expect there to be an espresso machine, kettle, cups etc, especially as this was a room in an out house, far from the reception and main hotel. The bath tub looked lovely. Unfortunately without hot water, a bath tub is not useful. After calling reception and finding no answer we finally got through to someone remote in reservations who said they'd pass on a message to reception. Finally someone showed up, explained there was a "scald safety switch" which prevented hot water running. Even after using the switch the hot water cut off after 1 minute and could not be reset. End result, no hot water for bath tub. Yes, we did turn the stupid scalp button (see photo). Calling back again, no resolution. Advised to email frontdesk@hotelkinsley.com which I did upon check out. 4 days later no response. I am shocked by the poor service, disinterest in rectifying a problem, complete lack of follow up. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
