First impressions can set the tone for the stay and certainly did this time. The airport shuttle had some damage to the passenger side of the vehicle and the A/C control was held up by duct tape. The lady who checked me in acted as though I was bothering her by checking in.
My room was nice and clean, but when I went to take a shower, I noticed that there weren't any washcloths. I showered anyway and later went to the front desk to request a washcloth, where once again, i was treated like I was a bother. The gentleman behind the desk this time, didnt even bother to look up at me. He just called someone and asked them to get some washcloths to me. I went back to my room and a lady dropped them off a while later.
I'm lifetime gold on Marriot, so I am familiar with how things usually work and I feel lile this was outside of the normal experience - I certainly hope so, anyway.
