Nice enough but won't return.
The staff were very helpful but not always at the desk. They did have a phone which would get you to a staff member and then they came to the desk. The halls were very cold- even the staff were wearing layers and winter hats, our room was freezing and took 6 hours to warm up(middle of the night). My sister's room was cool but warmed up fast. We realized in the morning, our window had a large crack in it and cold winter air was coming in. It was dark when we arrived and the shade was down. The room was clean in most areas but areas between furniture and under beds were food crumbs, large wod of hair. We would have asked for a new room but we got there before our son's bedtime and we just wanted to go to bed ourselves after a long day. The staff told us they would have moved us happily- we should have done that. They have been remodeling the hotel overall, just some more to do. Breakfast was good but they ran out an hour early, only putting out the limited amount. Seemed like the hotel ran on the bare minimal in all respects.

Won't Stay Here Again
We had difficulty getting in the room, the one lock moves over to lock from the inside. The room was cold. No instructions on how to get heat. When we did get heat, the room was like a sauna. We asked for a handicapped room, which is what we got, but the bars for gripping are placed 6 inches from the bathtub! You have to bend over to grip them! It's useless! And difficult to shower. Breakfast was ok. Waffles, eggs, and sausage links available. Toast and cereal too.

The room I was given had a few things that were missing/broken. The phone did not work. And looking outside my window it felt like anyone could’ve crawled right into my room if wanted to, the window was level to a large back field. The door that I was supposed to come in and out of from my car did not lock either.

The bathroom in our room was in the process of being up-graded, but the work was not done. There was exposed wiring, tippy toilet, warped door would not close, loose door handle, noisy bath fan, unfinished door trim. This room should not have been rented, especially at full price. It definitely was not ready for guests.

at least the roof didn't leak!
poor ventilation, tv in next room on all night with guest snoring. tried to drown out with noisy heater fan. got too hot. wife got a back ache from bed; slept on floor. bathroom sink drain plug disconnected. a washcloth was hung on top of shower curtain rod; bathroom ceiling light cover was dangling. toilet seat cover loose; we tightened it. breakfast? no coffee or hot water for cereal or tea.

Power curtain did not work. Charger was brought to fix the situation but it didn't work again in the a.m. Heater was loud & turned off & on all night so we finally turned the heat off so we didn't need to listen to it. Drain opener did not work so I had to stand on one leg to keep it open with my other foot (so that the tub would drain). Phone was not operational. Paint splatter all over in the bathroom including the floor. No coffee in the breakfast room. Pretty bland food choices. I had stayed there previously & that stay was more positive. Thought that at least one person would have apologized for the inconveniences (at a minimum) but was just told that the issues would be passed in to maintenance.
