Beautiful city with many historic sites, especially the Cathedral that is well preserved. Loved the promenade that is closed to traffic with cafes and shops.

The museum of WW2 surrender is stunning and worth a visit. €5 each or less for old codgers like me. Never knew about it but to stand in the same room exactly as it was where the German surrender took place was amazing

We spent two days in Reims, the first day was exploring the city and th second day we went mountain biking in the local national park, we also did some sightseeing round the local vineyards and visited the British war graves nearby. A lovely two days

Reims was like a quieter, mini-Paris. Nice to get away from the noise of the city for the day.

It is too bad the major museums were.closed, but expect them to be amazing when reopened. We'll be back! I looked for a company that does package tours to take you to different wineries on a party.bus or something and that wasnt a thing which is sad.
"Loved our stay at this hotel. Great location surrounded by good restaurants and walking distance to the Notre Dame Cathedral. Particularly liked the black out blinds for sleeping and the water fill both sparkling and still. Comfortable beds. While there is parking garage below the hotel, it can be tricky to get into. Overall convenient to have it there. "
"This is the 4th B&B Hotel we have stayed in on our trip. It was much as we expected, modern, smart, well situated on the edge of the city. Parking was opposite, shared with the train station.
The chap on the reception, Valotte ( not sure of spelling ) was very helpful and friendly. Our room was small but had all we needed, including aircon, although this is the smallest bathroom we have experienced yet with a very compact shower cubicle.
Nice bar, lounging area with games, including a pool table.
Good stay, would stay here again."
