I had time to visit some of the sites in the area this time. I went to Old Fort Bedford and Historic Bedford Village. The Fort especially was a very well done attraction. I have been to many local history museums and it was one of the best ever.

Excellent
Bedford offers a great deal of local history and charm; however, there are some really cool up-to-date eateries and coffee shops. The area is very pet friendly!

Easy to get on and off the highway; there was an all-night Sheetz near the hotel, which was good, as I got in pretty late, (Said Sheetz also had an EV charging station, which may be useful for some travelers.)

I commented to my wife about how friendly the folks in town were whom we met.
"I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the photos and reviews were good and the price was fair. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, check-in easy, friendly, and fast. Facilities were modern and clean and the room was great, spacious, cool, clean, and modern. It's my new favorite hotel in the area!!"
