When I booked this hotel I never thought that his hotel would be truly a luxurious haven in the heart of the Beyoglu distritct, near to most attractions. The rooms apart from spacious are tastefully decorated and contain every possible item a traveler could need. The top floor where breakfast and dinner is served provides extraordinary views of the bosforus, the horn and Topaki Palace. Also, the staff are very helpful. I hope to return soon.

Özen (Ozzie -the night concierge) was the best concierge I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The first night we had a problem with the room, not only did he fix it quickly, but provided us several options and made sure to check on us everytime he saw us and sent some Turkish Delight to our room. I have never met a more genuine and caring person.
Housekeeping was lovely and efficient!
Breakfast was amazing, hats off to the restaurateur/manager, lovely gentleman, very committed to...

Istanbul is a great city and you can't find a better location than hotel Sultania. All the main attractions (topkapi palace, hagia sophia, basilic cistern, blu mosque, Egyptian bazaar) are within walking distance, the longest we walked was to the grand bazaar which was about 1 km. However, the tram is right around the corner if you don't like to walk, and is very frequent. Even the ferries to galata and the Asian side are walking distance.

Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Istanbul is from January to March, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a great value for money experience, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to fully explore the city's key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During your visit, you can immerse yourself in Istanbul's rich history by visiting its magnificent museums, stunning churches, and iconic monuments, as well as enjoying its unique architecture, vibrant shopping areas, and delightful cafes and dining options.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Hotels.com offers great opportunities for savings when exploring Istanbul. You may discover enticing deals by checking the Dealsopens in new window section or seeking last-minute offers in the Last-Minute Deals area, where discounted hotel rates could be available as your travel date nears. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool on the app helps you compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see potential savings opportunities and stay informed on flash sales or promotions.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find better rates for your stay in an Istanbul hotel. If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized touch and could offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is higher or lower than the average. If the price leans toward the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to more affordable options.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Istanbul's fantastic public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel located further out that is still conveniently connected. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even some lesser-known nearby towns, you'll often find great value for your money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more genuine and budget-friendly experience.
