I’ve emailed them and tried chatting to the AI and also a live person on booking was promised three things, Seaview Bottle o f wine and a hotel with a pool neither were available no compensation no answers no nothing I can’t blame the hotel. There were also no staff in the afternoons or evenings when I was there, so I could not enjoy the bar aspect of the outdoor dining area. "We spent 1 night on Vulcano in the really nice Pensione La Giara. It is conveniently situated on a relatively quiet street on a little over 5 min walk from the port, and on route to the path ascending to the vulcano. We were in two neighbouring bedrooms with shared bathroom for both rooms, which was perfect for our family of four. The owner on arrival advised on the trip up the vulcano and on nearby restaurants.
