There was a large Walmart, Lowes and restaurants within 10-15 min. Also Carolina Mall was fairly close.

on and off ramps still under construction makes traffic and slow at lights. Fort Mill very nice area
"To no fault of the hotel I wouldn't recommend walking past the stoplight nearby. Saw a few panhandlers at the stoplight nearby at both sides. Daytime I think is ok but I'd be careful after dark. The hotel itself is pretty good though. "
